Join as as we gather on Christmas Eve night (6:00 p.m. for cookies, coffee, and cider and 7:00 p.m. for worship) to celebrate the birth of Jesus. During this magical worship service, we tell the story of Christmas, culminating in our singing “Silent Night” by candlelight in a darkened sanctuary. Come, let us adore Him!
Worship God while singing the songs of Christmas during our annual Christmas Cantata. This year’s cantata, led by the Praise Team and Disciples Singers, will take place on Christmas Eve morning (a Sunday this year) at 10:50 a.m.
Worship as you enjoy a different perspective on the Christmas story, entitled The Innkeeper’s Children. All are welcome to worship on this festive day. There will be one worship service at 10:50 a.m.
Advent begins Sunday, December 3, and at First Christian Church we begin Advent with a special Hanging of the Greens worship service. Come learn about how the decorations of Advent/Christmas help point to and remind us of God’s great desires for the world (as made known in Jesus Christ). Join your church family for our annual Thanksgiving Feast on Sunday, November 19 after second worship service. The Membership Committee will furnish: Turkey & Dressing Mashed Potatoes & Gravy Rolls Drinks You are asked to provide a side dish to share and your own table service. (NOTE: If you can’t bring anything to share, COME ANYWAY!)
Join us in remembering friends and loved ones who have past away in the last year, as we honor our saints in an annual All Saints’ Sunday Liturgy of Remembrance during worship this Sunday, November 5, 2017 in both worship services (9:00am and 10:50am).

Come to First Christian Church’s west parking lot to enjoy a safe, fun alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating! Cars that have been decorated for Halloween will be lined up withe trunks full of treats for the kids.
