National Day of Prayer Community Observance
Our community observance will be held at First Christian Church, 1326 N. 1st Street, May 7, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event will begin with a special concert by the Sentimental Journey Band of Grand Junction at 11:30 a.m., offering songs of patriotism and faith.
The gathering will be filled with prayer for media, arts, and entertainment; governmental leaders; the military; churches; families; education; and other vital areas of our community and nation.
Pastor Kevin Arensman will welcome participants and lead a special prayer for our nation as we join together in hope, unity, and shared purpose.
